Sheets let you group cards together into separate spaces to help you clear clutter and group cards into broader categories.

The sheet browser.
The sheet browser is the list of thumbnail images of cards that appears over the entire screen (as seen above). Each sheet is represented by a file which by default is located in ~/Library/NoteCard but this can be changed in the preferences.
- To toggle the sheet browser press command-T or select the Toggle Sheets item in the Sheet menu.
- All the files in the sheet folder will appear in the browser but you can move around sheets freely even when NoteCard is open and the changes will be reflected in the application.
- If you would like to delete a sheet, change its name or move it to another location you can use the Go to Sheets Folder command (in the File menu) or open the folder in the Finder. Sheets behave like any normal file in the Finder.
- There are options to change the size of the thumbnail images and side of the screen the browser is displayed in the preferences.
Creating sheets.
Choose the New Sheet... item in the Sheet menu to create a new sheet. You will be taken to the sheet folder (as defined in the preferences) to save the but you can save the file any where you like. Remember, all sheet files appearing in that folder will appear in the browser also.
Opening sheets.
- Click on the sheet image (represented by the cards inside) to open it.
- You can also double-click on the sheet in the Finder or drop it on the NoteCard icon in the Dock to open the file.
Deleting sheets.
You can delete sheets in three ways:
- Delete the sheet file in the Finder (which is located in the sheet folder, by default: ~/Library/NoteCard) like a normal file.
- Contextual-click (hold control and click or right mouse button) the sheet image in the browser and choose Move to trash. The file can be recovered later from the trash if need it.
- Use the Delete Sheet... item in the Sheet
Cycling through cards in the sheet.
Just like windows in the Finder you can cycle through cards using the keyboard by pressing command-` or choosing the Cycle Through Cards item in the Sheet menu.
Printing sheets.
Entire sheets can be printed as black and white representations for a quick overview of a project or note taking. All the cards in the sheet will be scaled to fit the page so printing in landscape mode is ideal for capturing all the cards.
To print a sheet simply choose the Print Sheet item in the Sheet menu.
Renaming sheets.
Double-click on the sheet title or use the Rename Sheet... item in the Sheet menu to rename a sheet.

Sheets are assigned a command 1-9 key in the Sheet menu for quick navigation.
