PhoneMGR Initial Setup:

To eliminate installing the 'support' DLL's etc. that most people already have on their PC's, PhoneMGR has included the Visual Basic runtimes, Access 2000 DLL's, and other associated files. You should only need the support files *IF* users experience problems loading PhoneMGR programs (due to missing files).

DO NOT install the support files without reading these instructions fully.

The Username is administrator. The Password is password

Setup:

1. Create a new PhoneMGR folder, and copy all files into it.

2. Share and grant users Full Access or Modify to the PhoneMGR folder

3. Create shortcuts to users desktop for PhoneAsst and a shortcut to the receptionist’s desktop for PhoneOperator.

It is preferred that you do not run PhoneMgr, PhoneAsst, or PhoneOperator on the server
(Unless the server is also a workstation on a peer-to-peer network)

6. Run the PhoneMGR program and Add new users through the User Mgr page.

SUPPORT FILES:
If your users experience any problems with missing DLL's etc, unzip the SUPPORT-FILES into a folder on your local C: drive, then copy ONLY the individual file needed to the server PhoneMGR folder.
NOTE 1. No files need to be copied to the workstations.
NOTE 2. Copying ALL the support files to the server will create large amounts of network traffic. DO NOT copy all the support files to the server unless necessary.
