Thomas Warfield is the President of Goodsol Development.  He developed the popular game Pretty Good Solitaire, which can be found at http://www.goodsol.com.  He served on the Board of Directors of the Association of Shareware Professionals in 2000 and 2001.  Prior to developing Pretty Good Solitaire, he taught mathematics at several universities and colleges.  He lives in Springfield, Illinois with his wife Anne and 4 cats.

 

 

Programmer: Gregg Seelhoff, SophSoft Incorporated.

 

Gregg Seelhoff is the Technical Director at Digital Gamecraft, a division of SophSoft, Incorporated.  He has been programming for almost 40 years, with games as his primary focus.  He has worked on many significant commercial games over the years, including writing graphical card handling routines for Pretty Good Solitaire.  This collaboration with Thomas Warfield and Goodsol led directly to the development of Action Solitaire and Pretty Good MahJongg, of which he is quite proud.  You can find out more about his career at http://www.sophsoft.com or read his blog at http://blog.gamecraft.org.

 

 

Artwork: Rick Tumanis, SophSoft Incorporated.

 

Rick Tumanis created computer graphics for games for a quarter of a century.  His work appeared in commercial games published by Electronic Arts, Legend Entertainment and Microsoft, among others.  He worked with Goodsol Development on the artwork for Pretty Good Solitaire and their other games until his passing in 2011. "Rick Tumanis designed computer art for clients and created electronic music for himself."

 

 

Game Credits

Most of the games in Pretty Good Solitaire are based on traditional solitaire games.  Aces and Kings, Demons and Thieves, Lady Jane, and Thieves of Egypt, as well as several other games, were invented by Thomas Warfield for Pretty Good Solitaire.
