The outbound
mail processor module captures recipient information to
automatically build a user's pre-approved user database.
The Titan Key is inserted in your outgoing email stream so that
it can capture recipient email addresses and add them to the user's
pre-approved list of senders. It accepts an outgoing relay from SMTP
server, captures the data, then relays all outgoing email through
another existing SMTP server.
The dashboard
module is a Web-based application used by users and administrators alike
to control the application. The dashboard may be installed on its own
Web server or may be installed on The Titan Key for lower-demand
situations.
The Web
challenge/response application is used to allow new senders to
validate themselves as human. Like any of the other modules it can
either co-installed with another module, installed as the sole
application on a server, or installed across load-balanced array of
servers.
The database:
All Titan Key information is stored in a Postgresql 7.4 Database Server. This database is accessed by the mail processor, dashboard,
and Web challenge/response applications. The database may be on a
standalone server for maximum performance and security or it may be
co-installed on The Titan Key. |
